# Dragon ball Cosmology (Explained & Debunked) by Agent Kenji

This map, often referred to as the Macrocosm, is the definitive guide to the structure of a single universe in Dragon Ball ( Universe 7). It shows that the world isn't just "space" but a giant, enclosed sphere divided into two main halves the Afterlife (The Cosmos) and the Living World (The Universe).&#x20;

I. The Upper Half (Afterlife/Other World)

* Heaven: A massive, planet sized world of beauty and peace reserved for those who did good in their lives.

* Enma-Daioh's Palace: The gateway to the Afterlife. This is where King Yemma (Enma-Daioh) sits at his desk to judge every soul, deciding if they go to Heaven or Hell.

* Snake Way: A winding, million kilometer path that starts at Enma Daioh’s palace and leads to King Kai’s planet.

* Kaioh's Planet: The tiny planet at the end of Snake Way where (Kaio) lives. Despite its small size, it has 10x Earth's gravity.

* Hell: Located at the very bottom of the spiritual half (the dark area beneath the clouds). This is where wicked souls are sent to be cleansed or contained.

II. The Lower Half (The Universe/Living World)

The bottom half is the physical realm where the series main action takes place. It is a vast space filled with stars and planets, divided into North, South, East, and West quadrants.

* The Earth: Home of the Z-Fighters.

* Planet Namek: Home of the Namekians and the original Dragon Balls.

III. The Sacred World of the Kai: This is a special realm that orbits the entire sphere of a single Universe (like Universe 7). It is the home of the Supreme Kais. It is physically separated from the Living World and the Afterlife, and mortals usually cannot reach it without teleportation

IV. The Multiverse Structure

In Dragon Ball Super, we learn there are 12 Universes in total.

Twin Universes: Universes whose numbers add up to 13 (ex. 6 and 7) are "twins" and contain similar planets and races.

In short, Universes has a "Nested" cosmology. It isn't just one big room, it is a room (Living World) inside a larger house (The Macrocosm), inside a neighborhood (The Multiverse)

V. Zeno's Palace:

At the absolute peak of everything is the Palace of Zeno. This sits outside the 12 universes entirely.
